Establishment of the joint-venture:
Egypt is a traditional market for Ganz. The first pump had been delivered to Egypt more than 70 years ago and during the past 15–20 years Ganz built approx. 200 pumping stations there. During the past few decades Ganz had its own commercial office in Cairo. A staff of engineers and technicians of Ganz is continuously present at site in order to execute the erection supervision of the equipment. In 1994, the commercial office ceased to exist and parallelly, a joint-venture had been established with Hungarian and Egyptian private individuals for a widened sphere of activity. The joint-venture plays an important role in the field of representation, maincontracting and export. The joint-venture was registered in Cairo on 9th September 1993. The company owns 5% in Ganzegypt Kereskedelmi Kft and 20% in ASG Vízgép Kft.
